From a young age, she played multiple sports but hockey was always her favorite time of the year! She played locally in the Chicagoland area before heading out East, her junior year of high school, to Lake Placid, New York, where she played for National Sports Academy. During that time she found her new home, in Potsdam, New York, and committed to play D1 college hockey at Clarkson University.
While attending Clarkson University, Savannah’s hockey career really took off. Her freshman year she was the points leader among Clarkson rookies with 21 points, and was named to the ECAC Hockey All- Rookie Team. Her sophomore year she stayed consistent on the ice, having 22 points on the season, and helped her team to reach the Frozen Four. Junior season she was named team captain, where she scored the game winning goal in the 3-0 win in the National Championship game against Wisconsin. She was second in the country in points among defense, and was named a second team All-American, ECAC Hockey Best Defenseman Award winner, Finalist for ECAC Hockey Player of the Year, and ECAC Hockey First-Team All- League, and a Patty Kazmaier Nominee.

During that time, Savannah completed her Masters Degree from Arizona State University - Masters of Legal Studies (MLS), with a concentration in Sports Law and Business. During that time, she made her first Women’s National Team in March 2020, which was cancelled due to Covid. Since then she has been a member of the National team and played in her first World Championship in August 2021 (silver) and was a member of the 2022 Women’s Olympic Team bringing home silver. In August 2022, she was named to the World Championship team, playing in her second Worlds bringing home silver.
Most recently in April 2023, Savannah won gold in the 2023 World Championships. This was her third World Championship appearance and her first Gold Medal!
Savannah loves being active, especially outside, whether it’s outside going for a walk or run, roller blading or playing pickle-ball. When she isn't at the rink or training she loves to cook, be with her family and friends, sipping red wine, and playing cards.
She loves giving back to the younger generation. She grew up idolizing Cammi Granato and has looked up to her since attending her camp when she was six years old. Savannah looks to inspire and be a role model for the next generation.
